The Sapphire Club
Designed to feel like an exclusive members-only club, the amenity space at 1WSQ offers tenants a place to find refuge during their workday or enjoy a cocktail after a long day at the office. Occupying 5,400 square feet on the 15th floor, including outdoor space, it features various destinations for focused work, hosting events, or closing deals.
Vocon drew inspiration from the sapphire brick exterior of 1WSQ to inform the interior color scheme. The custom sapphire-toned bar, nicknamed “The Garden,” serves as a central anchor and makes a powerful statement. Custom blue banquettes draw the eye towards the terrace and the stunning views of Brooklyn and Manhattan. Neutral finishes balance these striking blue tones, complemented by warm woods and metals, woven fabric walls, playful terrazzo, and soothing greenery. Materials such as marble and concrete, paired with sleek powder-coated black lighting and accents, enhance the industrial aura of the space and reference the building’s architecture. Carefully positioned ductwork and HVAC allow for open, clean ceiling slabs.
Congratulations to the Project Team and everyone involved!
