Vocon has announced that Rob Gatzke has been promoted from Managing Director of the New York City office to Principal and Managing Director of the New York City office, while Megan Spinos has been promoted from Strategy Director to Principal and Strategy Director.
As Principal and Managing Director of the New York City office, Gatzke will oversee business strategy and development, account management and design strategy while directing multi-discipline team project management. As Principal and Strategy Director, Spinos will lead firm-wide efforts to develop workplace strategies that influence employee achievement, collaboration and wellbeing in positive and measurable ways. Both team members will support Vocon as it continues to expand its business nationally and internationally.

Gatzke has over 25 years of experience in design and architecture across a broad spectrum of projects with a specialty in hospitality assignments. His experience in design leadership nationally enables him to achieve solutions to complex challenges, balancing overarching goals with the careful execution of all details. Gatzke has a keen awareness of the impact of design on the environment, which he considers an integral part of the design process. He understands the importance of structure in the design process and the effect it has on the design delivery. He is client-focused with a profound appreciation for maintaining and growing relationships through dialogue and by providing outstanding service.
Spinos is a long-time Vocon team member, beginning with the firm as an intern in 2007. She was later hired as Project Designer in 2008 and launched Vocon’s Workplace Strategy practice in 2013. She assists organizations with decisions about the design and use of their workspace to support culture and business goals. By helping to improve productivity, enhance employee attraction and engagement, and foster innovation Spinos and her team help clients to increase market share and optimize real estate portfolios. Spinos’ experience in the fields of strategic workplace planning, design and account management has allowed her to successfully influence business outcomes for a broad spectrum of clients and project types, including corporate office, public, healthcare, legal and non-profit assignments.
