Spanning 21,884 RSF, the space reflects Roark’s dynamic growth and vision for the future, balancing employee needs with a sophisticated environment that celebrates the firm’s rich history and brand.
A Dynamic Workplace
This investment advisor’s Chicago flagship office draws inspiration from the surrounding Fulton Market Neighborhood. Employees and visitors are drawn into the space by a welcoming open lounge and cafe space, with a mix of seating types such as booths, bistro tables, and a large communal table. The ceiling design is inspired by the iconic Aqua Tower in Chicago, providing a dynamic visual impact upon arrival.
A Sophisticated and Approachable Space
The vision for the New York office of this global investment adviser was to create a dynamic, inviting place where people feel welcomed into the company’s distinct collegial and collaborative culture. One of the floors is dedicated to client hosting and amenity spaces for employees, including a fully serviced barista bar, multipurpose training room, large morning meeting room, open booth seating, and a gracious private terrace for outdoor events.

After completing the design of their Cleveland Studio with the Vocon Team, Good Karma Brands reached out to partner with them again for the relocation of their Milwaukee Home Office and Studios. The renovation took place partially in the Historic Matthews Building constructed in 1893, and partially in a new Annex that directly connects to the Shoppes of Grand Ave, an 8-acre mall in the heart of downtown Milwaukee.

Opening in October 2023 on the vibrant canvas of Wynwood, Miami’s celebrated arts district, this space sets a new standard for collaboration, innovation, and client engagement.
Vocon worked as the Architect of Record with Design Architect, BDG, and WPP to create a Campus in the historic Marquette Building in downtown Detroit. The new co-location will allow WPP’s agencies to benefit from and contribute to the transformation underway in the city. As a company driven by creativity and technology, WPP employs people in a broad range of communications services, such as advertising and media, public relations, data investment management and customer experience.
Minimalist and Energy Efficient
Vocon has launched a comprehensive renovation and expansion Project for SOPREMA’s United States Headquarters Office, Research and Development space in Wadsworth, Ohio. The minimalist design for repositioning and expanding the building will parallel SOPREMA’s International global headquarters in Strasbourg, France.
A New Home for CCM
The recently completed CrossCountry Mortgage Headquarters in Cleveland’s Superior Arts District is an adaptive reuse project of four historic buildings into one corporate headquarters campus. The campus is one of the city’s largest new headquarters projects in nearly a decade and has brought more than 800 full-time jobs to Cleveland.

Artistic Innovation
Vocon designed an artful and narrative-rich five-story vertical campus for their client’s advertising-technology office in New York City’s Fifth Avenue neighborhood previously known as the Ladies’ Mile Historic district. Vocon was a committed partner, providing expertise from site selection to design and valuable support through construction.
Vocon collaborated with Recognize, a technology focused investment firm, to transform the second floor of 540 Madison Avenue into a workplace that would seamlessly accommodate their growth and diverse structure while embodying their brand identity and unique platform.
Located just outside Washington, D.C. in a modern high-rise campus is the Reston, VA Raymond James office. Built in a brand new space, the project team designed a modern office with clean lines, beautifully earthy materials, and little wink moments of playfulness as soft, eased edges strategically accent design elements throughout.
The Cleveland Foundation’s new home is a mass timber building design targeting LEED Gold. Located within Cleveland’s Hough/Midtown District, the site lies on an unimproved plot adjacent to the historic Dunham Tavern Museum. The Project Team, a collaboration between Vocon and S9 Architecture, designed a new headquarters building that is a new home for the Foundation and a tremendous resource to the surrounding community.

Process Technology was committed to their community when it was time to update their historic Willoughby headquarters. Our design honors their commitment to the community by repurposing the site of a former used car dealership into a vibrant, open, and bright contemporary office. The existing building was the place for auto sales and the site consisted of outdated and utilitarian structures. Our design connects structures that were constructed over the years, creating a cohesion that reflects the progressive technological identity of this forward-thinking company.
