A Forward-Thinking Transformation to Meet Growing Needs

Situated on eight contiguous floors at Key Tower, Benesch’s Cleveland office is contemporary, bright, and reflective of their forward-thinking, people-first culture..

A Captivating Canvas for Growth

Vocon collaborated with Recognize, a technology focused investment firm, to transform the second floor of 540 Madison Avenue into a workplace that would seamlessly accommodate their growth and diverse structure while embodying their brand identity and unique platform.

Modernity Balanced With Earthy Materials

Located just outside Washington, D.C. in a modern high-rise campus is the Reston, VA Raymond James office. Built in a brand new space, the project team designed a modern office with clean lines, beautifully earthy materials, and little wink moments of playfulness as soft, eased edges strategically accent design elements throughout.

A New Home for the Foundation

The Cleveland Foundation’s new home is a mass timber building design targeting LEED Gold. Located within Cleveland’s Hough/Midtown District, the site lies on an unimproved plot adjacent to the historic Dunham Tavern Museum. The Project Team, a collaboration between Vocon and S9 Architecture, designed a new headquarters building that is a new home for the Foundation and a tremendous resource to the surrounding community.

Celebrating Passion

Collectors’ new corporate and operations space reflects the company’s dedication to serving collectors, retail buyers, and sellers of collectibles. With a focus on storytelling, the architectural design aims to capture the essence of the collecting community and the passion that drives it. Vocon’s design team incorporated elements that narrate the rich history of collectibles and the emotional connection collectors have with their cherished items.

Blending Innovation and Functionality

The Bliss Group, a marketing communications agency, desired an office space that harmoniously blends innovation and functionality. Situated on the second floor of the iconic Helmsley Building, a prominent Beaux-Arts skyscraper on Park Avenue, its location adds an extra touch of allure to the workspace.

Building Community

What would be the mission and purpose of the work environment if we could work from anywhere? A desire to embolden the connection to the community and celebrate the eclectic diversity of San Francisco became the foundation for the design. Our team leveraged the workplace as the organizational anchor to culture, growth and technology – resulting in an approachable, comfortable, active and accessible environment.

A Strategic Balance

It was easy to find inspiration when a client’s core mission is asking “what if?” Doner, a full-service global advertising agency headquartered in Detroit, MI and Assembly, a digital media agency, sought a firm that would find a strategic interior design balance between their Main Street identity and a work environment that will support artists, capitalists, strategists and creators. Faced with the challenge of creating a home for their newly blended in-person and virtual workforce, we continued our longstanding partnership and designed with purpose around dynamic meeting settings and organic engagements with colleagues.

A New Home for the Future

While stay-at-home orders and a sharp embrace of remote working cast an uncertain light for the summer of 2020, the Corcoran Group saw a monumental opportunity to pivot its operations and stay at the forefront of the new global working climate. Their previous headquarters at 660 Madison Avenue was spread over non-sequential floors, was overcrowded and quickly became non-functional for the company’s fast-growing team of employees and agents.

Writing our New York story

Having outgrown our previous space, it was time for Vocon’s New York office to write its own story at 530 Fifth Avenue. With 15,000 SF, ingenuity, and an eye for cutting-edge design, our offices now accommodate over 80 employees within a flexible and responsive workplace. Our space tells the story of our relationships – our commitment to clients and employees, our ability to challenge the status quo, and our gratitude towards the community.

Reflecting Ingenuity, Promoting Flexibility

Process Technology was committed to their community when it was time to update their historic Willoughby headquarters. Our design honors their commitment to the community by repurposing the site of a former used car dealership into a vibrant, open, and bright contemporary office. The existing building was the place for auto sales and the site consisted of outdated and utilitarian structures. Our design connects structures that were constructed over the years, creating a cohesion that reflects the progressive technological identity of this forward-thinking company.
