Vocon is thrilled to announce Design Director Jodi van der Wiel has been newly elevated to the 2022 class of AIA’s prestigious College of Fellows.
The AIA College of Fellows seeks to stimulate a sharing of interests among Fellows, promote the purposes of the Institute, advance the profession of architecture, mentor young architects, and be of ever-increasing service to society. This amazing achievement is AIA’s highest membership honor for their exceptional work and contributions to architecture and society.
AIA Fellows are recognized with the AIA’s highest membership honor for their exceptional work and contributions to architecture and society. Architects who have made significant contributions to the profession and society and who exemplify architectural excellence can become a member of the AIA College of Fellows. Only 3% of the AIA members have this distinction.
Fellowship is granted to architects who have produced extensive bodies of distinguished work that has been broadly recognized for its design excellence through design, urban design, or preservation. The AIA College of Fellows also evaluates nominees by their reputation for practice management or practice technical advancement.
Through empathy, inclusive leadership and the power of human-centric design, Jodi van der Wiel, FAIA drives cultural change in practice, in the community, and in the profession.
