An Innovative Workforce Housing Development
In response to a Public-Private Partnership opportunity issued by the city of Victor, ID, Snavely Group partnered with Vocon to plan Sherman Park – an innovative workforce housing development on a 3.3-acre city-owned site. The development meets the city’s form-based code, presenting a distinctive challenge, and the thoughtfully designed residential community is poised to offer 90 new apartment units within four buildings, each crafted to harmonize with Victor’s picturesque surroundings.
Sherman Park will feature a blend of one-, two-, and three-bedroom units to cater to a diverse range of living needs. The development emphasizes accessibility and convenience with walk-up apartment buildings, enhancing the residential experience while minimizing the impact on the environment. Additionally, the project will include integrated “tuck-under” parking to ensure ample and accessible parking for residents.
As a commitment to quality and affordability, Sherman Park has sought HUD tax credits, aiming to offer well-designed, accessible housing options that meet the needs of the local workforce. This new development will not only enhance the housing landscape of Victor but also support the community’s growth and well-being.
