Blending Innovation and Functionality

The Bliss Group, a marketing communications agency, desired an office space that harmoniously blends innovation and functionality. Situated on the second floor of the iconic Helmsley Building, a prominent Beaux-Arts skyscraper on Park Avenue, its location adds an extra touch of allure to the workspace.

A generous reception greets visitors and a client-facing lounge leads to two large conference rooms providing ample space for large-scale formal meetings. High ceilings and expansive windows offer a sense of light, air and views of the busy city streets below.

Upon entering the office environment, you’ll notice a striking feature that defines the space – a large skylight that fills the area with natural light, creating a bright and open atmosphere. The expansive skylight serves as a centerpiece, illuminating the lounge space below and promoting employee connectivity. Carefully designed collaboration areas throughout the office invite colleagues to gather, share ideas, and work together toward success.

Continuing through the office, you’ll find an open workspace buzzing with productivity. Warm wood tones dominate the color palette, bringing a sense of tranquility to the space. Crisp whites complement the design, creating a clean and modern aesthetic. Adjacent to the open office area is one of two lively cafés, providing a sanctuary where individuals can detach and recharge. The café features sleek concrete-look countertops contrasted with warm brass fixtures where contemporary seating arrangements invite moments of relaxation and informal collaboration.

Breaking away from convention, the office space also includes a podcast studio, reflecting the company’s embrace of new media platforms. This dedicated studio brings audio narratives to life, blending seamlessly with the overall design concept. Whether conducting interviews or producing engaging content, the studio serves as a hub for creativity and storytelling.
